Comparison

▲ marks the better value when both rolls have the same stat in that slot. A higher positive is better and a smaller negative is better. Spliced traits are shown in gold.

How grades work. Each stat gets an S–F grade for its roll quality, meaning where its value lands in the possible range for this riven type, rank and number of stats (positives: higher is better; negatives: lower is better). Since disposition was retired, every weapon uses the same 1.2× range. The riven grade (0–100) combines how useful the chosen stats usually are (55%), the average roll quality (25%) and how harmful the negative is (20%). S 88+, A 75+, B 62+, C 50+, D 38+, F below. Stat usefulness reflects general community guidance and can differ for specific builds. Bows double the Fire Rate range, so bow Fire Rate grades read low. Faction stats are entered as the in-game multiplier, e.g. 1.45. Companion weapon rivens use the ranges of their weapon class (check the weapon's class on the wiki). Their vintage stats (Zoom, Weapon Recoil, Ammo Maximum) can only be traded for and can't be spliced.

Damage comparison & ranking

Damage is shown as a multiplier on the weapon with no riven and no other mods, so treat it as a guide for comparing these two rolls, not an exact in-game number. Physical damage (Impact, Puncture, Slash) assumes an even split of the weapon's base damage. Situational stats such as faction damage, weakpoint and status damage are listed but not counted in the score. Enter the weapon's base crit stats from the wiki for a more accurate crit result.

Riven Splicer guide
  • Splicing uses up two traits already on the riven plus one Riven Splicer (from The Icebind, up to 3 per week).
  • The spliced trait is always positive and keeps the higher random value of the two traits it replaced.
  • A new random trait fills the freed slot. It is negative if either consumed trait was negative.
  • A riven can only have one spliced trait. It stays through cycling and doesn't count as a locked trait.
